  • Community Update

Dear friends,

Today, Ontario is reporting 485 new cases of COVID-19. Locally, there are 108 new cases in Toronto. We continue to be in Step Three of the province’s reopening plan. Full details on Step Three restrictions are available on the “Reopening” Ontario webpage. It is still a good idea to review the City’s COVID-19 Reopening Guide for Toronto Residents for the latest public health guidance, provincial regulations, and City bylaws.

The most important news this week is that starting today, all children turning 12 years old before the end of 2021 are now eligible to receive their first dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.

As we continue to face threats of new variants, vaccines are critical for protecting our community and bringing Ontario back to life. If you have not booked your first or second COVID-19 dose, you can now walk into any City-run vaccination clinic to receive your vaccine. Details are available at As always, you can find out the latest news about the numerous clinics, pop-ups and pharmacies in Scarborough that are administering the vaccine by checking my Vaccination News webpage.

My Constituency Office is always ready to hear from you. If anyone has any concerns or challenges accessing support or needs help booking a vaccination, please call my office at (416) 281-2787 or send an email to

Warm regards,
