MPP Mitzie Hunter Community Update

  • Community Update

Dear friends,

I’d like to thank all of you who tuned in to the Scarborough-Guildwood Virtual Town Hall this Monday. A lot of information was shared about the second wave, testing, and flu vaccinations. In case you missed it, I’ve linked a recording of the town hall below in the newsletter.

Next Monday, November 2nd, we will be hosting another Virtual Town Hall, this time with special guest Mayor John Tory. It will be open for all to join as usual. Details can be found below!

This weekend is Halloween – and I’d like to gently remind you all that the Province has advised Toronto, Peel, Ottawa, and York to not trick-or-treat door to door this Halloween.

You can celebrate in alternate ways, and read public health advice and tips for a safe Halloween during the COVID-19 pandemic from Toronto Public Health here.

Thank you for doing your part to keep our community safe.

Warm regards,

Mitzie
