MPP Mitzie Hunter’s 1st Annual Skating Party

March Break Fun with Scarborough-Guildwood

NEWS

March 14, 2014

Mitzie Hunter, MPP for Scarborough-Guildwood hosted her 1st Annual Skating Party at the Scarborough Village Community Centre on March 12th, 2014.  Regardless of the weather, many Scarborough-Guildwood residents came out with their children to enjoy the Skating Party and food.  The event was very well-received by the attendees.  Children and their parents had a great time on the rink.  We had Neighborhood Resource Officers to help those children who didn’t know how to skate.  Over 100 kids were on the rink and our office was told to do another Skating Party soon.

QUOTE:

“I wanted to create an opportunity for my Scarborough-Guildwood residents with children to come out and have fun during March break.  My 1st Annual Skating Party was a great venue for many residents and children to come out for food and free skates.  I am so thrilled to know that they had a great time at the party. I am looking forward to doing many more fun events in our beautiful ridding of Scarborough-Guildwood”

— Mitzie Hunter, MPP for Scarborough-Guildwood

A special “thank you” to Marilyn Hodge, PC Arsenault, PC Rowe, the Neighborhood Resource Officers, the Scarborough Village Community Centre, staff, and volunteers for making this event a great success.
