March 16, 2014
Individuals and organizations are gathering in Scarborough Bluffs United Church on March 13th, 2014 to join the pre-budget conversation with MPP Mitzie Hunter, Scarborough-Guildwood.
These discussions are an important part of the province’s budget process. The government is seeking ideas from across Ontario on what more can be done in the 2014 Budget to create jobs and grow the economy.
Developing a strong budget through open dialogue with the people of Ontario is part of the government's economic plan that is creating jobs for today and tomorrow. The comprehensive plan and its six priorities focuses on Ontario's greatest strength – its people and strategic partnerships.
“By hearing ideas from communities throughout the Ontario, we can build on our plan for jobs and growth, while ensuring that our 2014 Budget will address the values and priorities of people across the province.”
— Charles Sousa, Minister of Finance
“I heard from many of my Scarborough-Guildwood resident on the 2014-2015 Provincial Budget and I look forward to passing those feedbacks on to the Minister of Finance as the government plans its 2014-2015 Budget.”
— Mitzie Hunter, MPP for Scarborough-Guildwood
