Mitzie Hunter, MPP for Scarborough-Guildwood hosted her 1st Annual New Year’s Levee at the Cedarbrae Library on Sunday, January 5th, 2014.  Over 200 Scarborough-Guildwood residents and community member’s attended the Levee.

The event was very well received by the guests.  Residents enjoyed the entertainment set by Dennis Hall, pianist along with plenty of food and refreshments.  Children in the KidsStop Early Literacy Centre had a fun hands-on environment with the Librarian reading and engaging them in kids’ activities.

QUOTE:

“My New Year’s Levee is a great way to start a new year.  This is a means for me to give back to my residents in the Scarborough-Guildwood community.  And it provides them with a relaxed and enjoyable environment where they can mingle with others and strengthen connections with the communities within Scarborough-Guildwood.”

— Mitzie Hunter, MPP for Scarborough-Guildwood

A special “thank you” goes to Cedarbrae Library, volunteers, and community members for their continuous support and turning my New Year’s Levee into a successful event.
