Celebrating Small Business Week in Scarborough-Guildwood
Ontario Helping Local Companies Grow and Create Jobs

Today Mitzie Hunter, MPP for Scarborough-Guildwood marked Small Business Week. More than half of the people of Ontario working for a business work for a small- to medium-sized enterprise.
Ontario is helping small businesses in Scarborough-Guildwood thrive by:
Ontario’s new Youth Jobs Strategy features the Youth Entrepreneurship Fund, which increases support for existing programs such as Summer Company, and introduces new programs to help young entrepreneurs with training, mentorship and seed financing.
Helping small business grow will create a strong and innovative business climate across Ontario as well as right here in Scarborough-Guildwood, one of the three pillars of the government’s economic plan to create jobs and growth and help people in their everyday lives.
