MPP Hunter's Annual Summer Fun Fest

Over 500 residents and friends of Scarborough-Guildwood came together to celebrate Mitzie Hunter's fifth anniversary of being MPP for Scarborough-Guildwood

Mitzie Hunter, MPP for Scarborough-Guildwood recently held her Annual Summer Fun Fest at Morningside Park on Sunday, August 12, 2018. This community event was a huge success bringing out over 40 dedicated volunteers and over 600 residents and friends across the Scarborough-Guildwood community.

All attendees enjoyed delicious food and the talented performers that brought life and vibrancy to the BBQ. Other activities included drumming, henna, and face painting were popular among all those who attended.

Speaking at the event MPP Hunter stated that "Today is an opportunity to gather as friends, family, and neighbors in the Scarborough-Guildwood community. This marks my fifth anniversary as MPP for Scarborough-Guildwood. There is a lot of work to be done, and I will continue to be the strong voice that our community needs at Queen's Park, and here, in our own community. We need to continue to gather and work together to make sure that the needs of the community do not go unheard. Thank you so much to all the residents and friends of Scarborough-Guildwood for joining me today!"
